The Challenge

The UAE government identified a critical transformative opportunity: to equip federal employees with future-ready skills to navigate rapid technological advancements, enhance service delivery, and maintain the country’s global competitiveness.

Key challenges:

  • Technological Disruption: Emerging fields like AI, blockchain, and Web 3.0 demanded new skills to ensure government efficiency and policy adaptation.

Objectives:

Jahiz was launched as an interactive digital platform designed to deliver essential future skills.

1. Skills of the FUTURE for the Government of the FUTURE: Jahiz delivers an interactive customized journey across critical skills closely linked to the future of government work, and aligned with the vision of the UAE, categorized under:

3. Driving Digital Adoption & Service Efficiency: Increasing awareness of digital services to enhance engagement, adoption, and user-friendly policy implementation.

4. Regulatory Adaptation & Digital Integration: Updating policy frameworks in response to dX trends, ensuring inclusive access to services through digital and traditional channels.

5. Public-Private Collaboration: Partnering with key stakeholders in the private and government sectors to deliver high-quality content and ensure employees gain industry-relevant expertise.
