ADR Logistics delivers business-critical compliance training with Totara Learn
ADR Logistics is Hungary’s premium logistics service provider in the field of dangerous goods, pharmaceutical products and foods requiring special handling.
The Challenge
ADR Logistics needed a robust LMS from which learners could access learning content. Their biggest challenge was helping employees adhere to serious safety requirements from the client side with top-quality compliance training.
ADR Logistics knew that this project would require precise planning and operational work in order to support their company policies surrounding bulletproof security and safety standards.
The Solution
ADR Logistics, which specialises in the transportation of medical, pharmaceutical, plant protection and hazardous substances, decided to switch to online learning from the previous face-to-face training, for all employees. They also requested online training materials to fill the LMS with ready to use interactive content.
They examined the existing LMS solutions in the e-learning market and Totara Learn proved to be the optimal solution for them. In 2016, they selected Hungarian Totara Partner Veloxnet to implement Totara Learn and develop the content for the platform.
During the implementation, a key part of the project scope was the compliance with the serious requirements which are common in the health and pharmaceutical sectors.
Scenarios for the initial content were made by ADR Logistics’ training partner, based on which the SCORM study material packages were created by Veloxnet.
The Results
The introduction of the Totara Learn system went smoothly with great customer satisfaction. Since the platform’s launch, the LMS has been used continuously. Working with hazardous substances requires special attention and a comprehensive understanding from every employee, meaning that ADR Logistics hope to secure 100% completion to ensure everyone abides by the law.
Veloxnet helped filled the LMS with interesting, playful learning content, along with building regular tests and exams about dangerous goods into the platform, creating a one-stop shop for all learning content.
